We're glad to be back this week, with what turns out to be a rather large haul! Yay for new books!
And if this is your first time here, make sure you check out our March Madness: Book Boyfriend Edition going on. We're putting our favorite book boyfriends against each other in a bracket. You can vote for your favorites AND we have a totally awesome giveway happening too!
I went on a book buying ban for the last couple of weeks of February, since I had bought so many books at the beginning of the month. Happy to say I received some Amazon gift cards for my birthday so I can resume buying ALL THE BOOKS. Here's what I've added to my TBR in the past 2 weeks:
For Review:
From Netgalley:
The Wicked We Have Done by Sarah Marian
The Here and Now by Ann Brashares
The Truth About Alice by Jennifer Mathieu
Second Star by Alyssa B. Sheinmel
Gifted/Won:
While Beauty Slept by Elizabeth Blackwell
Purchased:
From Amazon:
Nil by Lyne Matson
The 57 Lives of Alex Wayfare by MG Buehrlen
The Winner's Curse by Marie Rutkoski
Used from My Local Bookstore:
Fire by Kristin Cashore
If I Stay by Gale Forman
Loser/Queen by Jodi Lynn Anderson
I love buying new books. It's just as satisfying as buying new shoes! I can never just buy one book at a time either ... I always have to buy 2 or 3 ... Or 10. If only I could buy shoes 10 pairs at a time! Anyway ... Here's my book haul from this week!
Thanks for stopping by!
Yay for new books! I went on a book buying ban from November to February + I bought some books last week and it felt SO good. If I Stay is great and I've been meaning to reread it.
ReplyDeleteThat is a long book buying ban. 2 weeks was tough for me (and even then I got some from Netgalley!)
DeleteLook at all the pretty books! :) I can't wait to read split second and I really want to get the winner's curse! The cover is absolutely gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteSplit Second is SO good. I have 1 more book to finish before I can reward myself with The Winner's Curse. :)
DeleteI want to read Cruel Beauty and While Beauty Slept SO badly! (Noticing a theme here...)
ReplyDeleteAnd Winner's Curse, of course, but I might wait until some of the hype has died down so I don't feel so much pressure to LOVE it!
Right? So much pressure on The Winner's Curse!
DeleteNice haul. I love the look of The Winner's Curse, I really need to hurry up and order myself a copy of that one. I also love the look of The Truth About Alice. I hope you enjoy your books :) My STS.
