Cookie Covers: Ignite Me & Cress

Welcome! Today I'm starting a new feature here on The Broke Book Girls! One of the four (yes, four) jobs I do when I'm not spending time with my wild and crazy little boy is decorating cookies. I absolutely love making cookies for people, and I'm thankful that I've been able to turn a hobby into a part-time profession. I decided what better way to combine my love of cookie decorating with my love of books than to recreate some of my favorite book covers and those of upcoming releases I'm excited to read.

So, without further ado, here are the first two book covers I decided to make:

I cannot wait to read these two books this week. Ignite Me will most definitely be read first thing tomorrow, with Cress being started shortly after.

These cookies took SO long to make (like hours. They're officially the cookies I've spent the most time on EVER), but I'm really pleased with how they turned out. I have lots more book covers planned, but please feel free to comment with any suggestions of covers you'd like to see recreated!
